Have a lot of family coming over next week for Thanksgiving? Maybe you'll have more family as we head into December and the Christmas season. Don't just sit around staring at each other wondering which movie we are going to put on next or which game to watch. Get off the couch, grab your family and have out for a fun day of paintball, laser tag, or battle bows.

This is a great family activity and usually, around the Missouri area, we are big into family. This is not just a couple of people coming over for Thanksgiving; a lot of families have upwards of 30 people that join them for this festive day and even throughout the holiday season at various times. Rather than figure out what to do or visit another museum or shopping mall, why not try your luck at a teambuilding game such as laser tag or battle bows.

Battle bows are our newest activity. Think of it like a dodgeball with padded arrows. It's also known as combat archery or tag archery where dodgeball meets archery. This is an action-packed, high adrenaline sport an hour specifically designed equipment allows you to shoot arrows at your friends or family safely scoring big time. There are usually two archery teams that go head-to-head in one-hour tournament experience. Of course, you can customize the event and game however you'd like but it really is a great family bonding experience.

The rules to battle bows are very similar to dodgeball. If you're padded arrow connects with an opponent there out of the game. If you catch an arrow in midflight the Bowman is out of the game. There's very limited cover so it's not a lot like laser tag or paintball. This is a duck and dodge your way out of the hailstorm of arrows. It is a super fun time and if you like archery and contact sports, this is the best of both worlds. It's super safe, soft, and perfect for just about anyone of any age. We have all the equipment including facemasks, padding, and even the best place to play it. Of course, you can play it at your course, church or gymnasium as well.

So don't just sit on the sidelines this holiday season with your family sipping a spiked eggnog and wondering when grandma is going to start snoring on the couch. Get out there this season, have fun and find some great family bonding experiences such as battle bows. We are available on Saturdays and Sundays so give us a call for pricing and availability.
